Bitcoin fund Pantera Capital increased to $134 million

Venture firm Pantera Capital has increased the amount of funding raised for its flagship bitcoin fund by $5 million to $134 million. Such data is contained in the SEC’s Form D disclosures.

Launched in 2013, Pantera Bitcoin Fund is the first bitcoin fund in the US. From the beginning of the year to 17 November, it generated 142% commission-free profit for investors.

According to the company’s July report, the profitability of Pantera Bitcoin Fund over seven years was over 15,000%.

In August, the volume of attracted funds to the third venture fund Pantera Capital reached $ 164.7 million. The structure was created for investment in portfolio companies in such segments as finance, payments, exchanges, private block solutions and infrastructure. The company participated in the financing round of the Bakkt cryptographic platform.

In its last letter Pantera Capital informed that PayPal and Cash App customers completely withdraw all bitcoins produced daily by the miners.
